Ingredients
1 fillet of Salmon
1 clove garlic
2 teaspoons Cajun masala
½ teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon basil
2 tablespoons butter
lemon juice 1 teaspoon
parsley or coriander leaves for garnishing
Method
Chop garlic into thin slices, set aside.
Apply Cajun masala to the salmon fillet. Marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat the nonstick pan on medium, add 1 tablespoon butter and put the garlic slices. Roast the garlic for a minute till light golden, place the salmon piece on it. Cover and cook for 2 minutes. Flip the fillet on the other side and cook on low fire for 2-3 minutes. If needed add few spoons of water and another spoon of butter. Take care; don’t burn the masala. Add lemon juice at the end. Garnish with coriander leaves. It goes well with noodles/rice.
Notes: Cajun masala has salt in it, so salt is not added. If available you can use fresh basil and rosemary. Wild caught salmon tastes better.
This looks great and spicy !
